Q: What materials do you need to begin orchestration?
A: We can work from mp3 recordings, piano/vocal scores, lead sheets, MIDI mock-ups, or full composer sketches. The clearer the source, the faster and more accurate the turnaround.
Q: What genres do you orchestrate for?
A: We work across a wide range of styles, including film and television scores, jazz, classical crossover, musical theatre, commercial pop, and contemporary orchestral works.
Q: Do you provide Sibelius or XML files with the finished scores?
A: In line with standard industry practice, Sibelius or XML files are not provided. Final deliverables are supplied as print-ready PDF scores and parts.
Q: Can you provide live musicians for recordings or performances?
A: Yes. Through McKenzie Music Productions, we can contract experienced musicians for studio sessions or live events, from small ensembles to full orchestras.
